Lucie at the 1999 Tony Awards

The 1999 L.A. Tony® Awards Party

Each June in Los Angeles, the entertainment community and other friends of the theatre and supporters of The Actors' Fund and Aid For AIDS gather to celebrate the Tony Awards.

This year, Tony Award Winner Charles Durning will receive the Julie Harris Lifetime Achievement Award. The event, hosted by Lucie Arnaz, will be held at the Museum of Flying in Santa Monica, California on Sunday, June 6, 1999, beginning at 4:00 pm PDT. The event features a live feed of the Tony Awards telecast from New York, projected on several large screens; cocktails and dinner; an auction of theatrical memorabilia, travel packages and other items.

Tickets are $160 each. Proceeds benefit both The Actors' Fund and Aid For AIDS, a leading Los Angeles AIDS organization.
